Certified Vacation Homes for Good™ pledge to operate with care, hospitality, and ethics, and are verified to contribute 1% of their rental proceeds to their communities.

Founding Properties:

The first 100 certified homes will be recognized as Founding Properties. They will receive launch marketing and media opportunities and will always be recognized as the homes that helped establish the Vacation Homes for Good™ standard.

• Provides clear guest information

• Signs the Host Commitment

• Contributes at least 1% of annual gross rental revenue to the local

What Happens Next?

1. Register your property and complete your annual certification fee.

2. Submit your materials. Most hosts already have everything needed, including your house rules, welcome guide, guest communications, and documentation of your community contribution.

3. We’ll review your application. Our team verifies that your property meets the Vacation Homes for Good™ standards and will reach out if we have any questions.

4. Get recognized. Once approved, you’ll receive your Vacation Home for Good™ certificate, digital badges, welcome materials, and everything you need to showcase your recognition to guests.

No site visit is required. Certification is reviewed and renewed annually to ensure participating homes continue to meet the standard.
