The Vacation Homes for Good™ collection highlights short-term rentals that commit to responsible hosting practices and meaningful local community support. The directory is currently in development and will launch with an initial group of founding certified homes.
How the directory will work:
The Vacation Homes for Good Directory will allow travelers to:
• Discover certified community-supporting vacation homes
• Learn how each property contributes locally
• Book directly with hosts or through their preferred platforms
• Choose stays aligned with their values
Each property listing links directly to the host’s preferred booking page. Vacation Homes for Good™ does not manage reservations.
Hosts will maintain control of their own pricing, calendars, and booking platforms.
To be included, properties commit to:
Supporting local organizations or initiatives
Operating responsibly within their communities
Maintaining transparent contribution practices
Meeting published Vacation Homes for Good standards
Participating homes may support housing initiatives, conservation efforts, community programs, or other locally meaningful causes.
Standards are administered through the Community-Centered Vacation Home Association (CCVHA).

For Hosts:
Founding Vacation Homes for Good properties will be the first recognized in the directory and help shape the future of responsible short-term rental standards.
