About CCVHACCVHA is an independent standards body supporting responsible vacation home stewardship.
❋ PurposeCCVHA establishes the standards used to recognize vacation homes that contribute positively to the communities where they operate. The association supports the development of clear, practical criteria that strengthen trust between hosts, guests, and destination communities.
❋ Role in certificationCCVHA defines the evaluation pillars and certification criteria used by the Vacation Homes for Good™ program. Certification is awarded at the property level following review against these standards.
❋ Why CCVHA was created As vacation homes become a larger part of many communities, there is growing interest in recognizing properties that operate with care for local neighborhoods and shared places. CCVHA was established to support that recognition.
❋ Relationship to the Vacation Homes for Good™ Community FundCCVHA supports the framework behind the Vacation Homes for Good™ Community Contribution Standard, which encourages certified properties to contribute to local initiatives.
❋ GovernanceCCVHA operates as a standards-setting body supporting the ongoing development of certification criteria. Future updates to the framework will incorporate input from hosts, communities, and subject-matter advisors.
